Join us for one of our most exciting recurring events — the Bowling Pin Shoot! Two shooters go head-to-head at 7 yards, racing to knock all the pins off their table before their opponent. Speed and precision are equally important, because one missed pin could cost you the match.

The action runs in a double-elimination bracket, so every competitor gets at least two chances to prove themselves. Each round builds the intensity until one champion is crowned. It’s a competition, but also a ton of fun for both shooters and spectators.

  • High Caliber Training Center – Indoor Range
    1414 Triumph Dr, Urbana, Illinois 61802

Event Details:

  • Entry Fee: $30 for non-members / $15 for members
  • Experience Level: Open to all skill levels (basic range safety knowledge required)
  • Spectators: Welcome — come cheer on your friends and enjoy the action

What to Bring:

  • Centerfire pistol in safe working condition
  • Magazines (we recommend at least 3 for convenience)
  • Minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition (bring extra if you want to practice before or after)
  • Eye and ear protection (available for rent or purchase if needed)

Rules & Format

  • Firearms: Centerfire pistols only
  • Distance: 7 yards
  • Magazine Limit: 8 rounds per magazine
  • The Middle Pin Rule: The center pin must be shot last — hitting it early results in
    disqualification for that run
  • Format: Double-elimination bracket; competitors cycle through until one winner remains

Event Schedule & Giveaway

  • The Bowling Pin Shoot runs twice a month, every other Wednesday.
  • Compete in both shoots within the same month and you’ll be automatically entered
    into a drawing to win a brand-new firearm.
  • Each month features a different firearm giveaway, so the excitement never stops!
