High Caliber Training Center is proud to offer Federal Firearms License (FFL) transfer services to facilitate the legal transfer of firearms. Whether you are purchasing a firearm online or transferring ownership, we make the process smooth and compliant with all state and federal regulations.

How to Complete an FFL Transfer
- Provide Seller with Our FFL Information – When purchasing a firearm from an online retailer or private seller, ensure they have our FFL license details for the transfer.
- Notify Us of the Incoming Transfer – Contact us with the details of your transfer, including the seller’s information and firearm details.
- Wait for Arrival & Processing – Once your firearm arrives at High Caliber Training Center, our team will process the transfer and notify you when it’s ready for pickup.
- Complete Background Check & Paperwork – When you arrive to pick up your firearm, you’ll need to complete the necessary ATF paperwork and pass a background check.
- Take Possession of Your Firearm – Once approved, you can take your firearm home!
Illinois 72-Hour Waiting Period
The state of Illinois requires a 72-hour waiting period before a firearm can be transferred to the buyer. This waiting period starts at the time of purchase, not when paperwork is initiated.
